Domestic Ceiling Application

Service Conditions

• The employer should not have any administrative remarks that prevents him from submitting a request to ceiling request to raise the number of domestic workpermits
• In the event of submitting a request to raise a temporary ceiling, it must be linked to a valid or terminated dometic expatriate work permit
• In the event of applying an update ceiling request, the applicant must have an unused workpermit
• Subject to the terms and requirements of the chosen occupation

Required Attachments

• Fill out the form with all the required data from both sides
• A mobile bank statement showing the applicant’s income for at least the last three months and copies of the record - for taxi drivers, proof of ownership of the vehicle and the driver’s license for the first work permit, and an account statement is attached in case of applying for other work permits - for seafarers, proof of ownership of the boat and a fishing license For the first work permit and an account statement is attached in case of applying for other work permits - for owners of real estate and apartments, address cards and rental contracts are attached
• The residence of the foreign employer must be valid for a period of no less than 6 months upon the approval of issuing the permit

For Freelancers:

• Attach the applicant’s ID card data, and a copy of the clearance record (for those loyal)

For taxi drivers

• Attach a proof of residency of the Gulf employer (and the Bahraini if ​​he works outside the Kingdom of Bahrain) and his family members in the Kingdom of Bahrain

For Fishermen

• A copy of both sides of the identity card for family members (husband - wife - children)

For real estate and apartment owners

• Source of income, which is proven by an approved salary statement
• The residence permit of the expatriate employer must have a six month validity upon obtaining approval of issuing the permit
• Attaching the applicant’s smart card extract, and a copy of the clearance register certificate (For employers that own clearing agencies)
• Attaching proof of the residency in the Kingdom of Bahrain for employers who are Gulf Nationals(and for Bahraini citizens if he/she work outside the Kingdom of Bahrain) as well as proof of residency for their family members if residing in the kingdom .
