Domestic Ceiling Application

Through this service, employers or an authorized person can submit a request to increase the ceiling limit of allowed domestic permits

Service Conditions

  • The employer should not have any administrative remarks that prevents him from submitting a request to ceiling request to raise the number of domestic workpermits
  • In the event of submitting a request to raise a temporary ceiling, it must be linked to a valid or terminated dometic expatriate work permit.
  • In the event of applying an update ceiling request, the applicant must have an unused workpermit
  • Subject to the terms and requirements of the chosen occupation

Required Attachments

  • A copy of the commercial registry
  • A copy of the recent bank statement (not exceeding than 6 months of the submission date)
  • A copy of latest electricity bill (not exceeding than 6 months)
  • A copy of interior and exterior photos of the establishment
  • Work volume proof (for example: contracts that the scheme obtained supported with construction permits, if the activity of the establishment is construction. Imported items bills which are supported with customs bills, if the activity of the establishment is importing and exporting. Photos of vehicles properties that the establishment own, when it works in the transportation sector. Documents of customs that approve shipping the goods when the enterprise works in loading and uploading activities
  • All documents should be formatted as JPEG

For Freelancers:

  • Attaching proof of the residency in the Kingdom of Bahrain for employers who are Gulf Nationals(and for Bahraini citizens if he/she work outside the Kingdom of Bahrain) as well as proof of residency for their family members if residing in the kingdom .

Fees

  • 5 BD : calculated administrative fees will be included in the monthly bill if the permit is valid, no other amounts will be counted when permit expires

Service Processes

  • Physical attendance of the employer or an authorized person to is to attend on his behalf in LMRA o they canr head to any employment offices to submit the request via the Client e-Services system.
  • Upload the required documents of increasing work permits limit
  • Ensure the completion of all required documents and information. In case some documents and information are not submitted, the request will be rejected, and the applicant must complete the missing documents and information
  • when all required documents and information are submitted, the applicant is then informed of the request approval or rejection
  • Submit the request of increasing work permits limit via the directorate of expatriate employees’ system
  • Upload the required documents
