New Establishment Registration
This service allows new establishments request for the commercial registration at LMRA. The registration enables the employers to submit their requests for issuing work permits.
Service Conditions
- In the case of commercial establishments registration, the commercial registry must be active on the website of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism.
- The employer must not have any administrative note that prevents him from carrying out any operations in the expatriate labor system.
- The personal presence of the owner of the commercial registry or establishment upon completion of the registration process and the identification of authorized persons according to the mentioned requirements, or the presence of the person authorized by the owner of the commercial registry or establishment under an official power of attorney authenticated by a notary public
- A copy for the private sector: the last electricity bill matching the address, paid within two months
- Upload the lease contract only if you are not responsible of electricity bills
- The recite must not be a final notification to stop electricity supply
- Proof of deposits of the current account are not accepted except the recently registered
Required Attachments
In case of registering governmental and commercial entities.
- A copy of the application form
- Appointment letter from government or commercial establishment specifying the name person in charge, the authorized persons, their personal informational, and the level of their authority
- Commercial registration certificate
- (In case of registering companies or banks), an official letter is required. A letter should mention the responsible person the authorized persons who are allowed to work in coordination with LMRA
- In case of authorizing a clearance agent, an official letter is required from the chairman of the board or the authorized persons (as specified in the commercial register from the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Tourism)
- Central informatics organization unit number and certificate of registration issued by Ministry of Education or Ministry of Labour for community schools (private schools) educational or training institution.
- Central informatics organization unit number and certificate of registration issued by the Ministry of Health for private clinics, hospitals, and clinics.
- Central informatics unit number and law license issued by register office in the Ministry of Justice & Islamic Affairs for Law firms and legal counselling.
- A copy of the commercial Registry of the clearance office (in case authorizing a clearance agent) ID Card proves that the applicant is registered in social insurance organization as employee in the clearance.
- A copy for the private sector: electricity bill not exceeding 2 months of validity
- Central informatics organization unit number for (agricultural land, whether owned or collateral, real estate, shopping malls, private compounds and apartment buildings, social clubs, NGOs, political and charitable funds, and places of worship
- Central informatics organization unit number and valid fishing license for fishermen (boar or dhows)

- Resolution No. (76) of 2008 regulating work permits for foreigners other than the category of domestic workers and its amendments.

- The call center will communicate with the employer to choose to complete the registration procedures, either by video calling or by personal attendance at one of the Labor Market Regulatory Authority branches
- To confirm the institution’s registration process, book an appointment through the electronic appointment booking system. If a new branch is registered for the institution, the application will be transferred to study for a decision automatically without the need to book a new appointment
- Fill out the PDF registration form (2.30 MB) and then visit the authority according to the specified date. After your application is approved, this approval will be sent to start using the expatriate labor management system
- You can start getting acquainted with the Bahrainization system to know the number of work permits initially granted to your organization. In the event that these permits are exhausted, you can submit a request to increase the limit on the number of work permits
- Fill in PDF Registration Form (2.30 MB) Submit the required documents. The application will be studied and if approved, you will be notified when and where you can receive your username and password to use the Expatriate Labor Management System
