Cancellation of employment and dependant permits.

Through this service, employers can apply for the cancellation employee’s permit as well as his dependents (family - and children up to 24 years).

Service Conditions

  • If the work permit expired the employer or authorized person must first check with the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) to complete the procedure for cancellation of work permit.
  • The employee must leave the country within 30 days of the cancellation or transfer under another employer.

Required Attachments

  • Copy of the cancellation approval form (optional)
  • All documents must be JPEG format

Fees

  • 5 BD : 5 BD administrative fee calculated from the monthly bill if the permit is valid, and no amount will be counted after the permit’s expires.

Service Processes

  • Fill the cancellation declaration form and then signing it (by the worker and the employer) followed by, uploading it to the Expatriate Labour Management System
  • Head to the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs to obtain the cancellation stamp

  • Access to the expatriate labour website using the employers password
  • Select the cancellation feature and enter the personal number of the expatriate
  • Attach a copy of the declaration (optional)
