Add, update, or delete authorized person.

This service enables the employer to add, update, or delete a person authorized to run the business on behalf of the employer according to the given authority.

Service Conditions

  • Maximum 5 authorized persons are allowed to register per facility.
  • The facility, the employer or the authorized person shall not have any administrative notes preventing the change/adding of an authorized person.
  • One of the following conditions must be met to add the authorized person:
  • The power of attorney must be Bahraini.
  • Must be a partner or authorized to sign in the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism.
  • Have a government transactions clearance office and registered in the expatriate labor system at the Labor Market Regulatory Authority.
  • If the authorized person’s commercial registration type is "my register", the commercial registration certificate must be attached.
  • The authorized person must have an official power of attorney from the responsible person, mentioning the name of the Labor Market Regulatory Authority and specifying the powers.
  • For a Bahraini employee, he must be a registered employee in the facility or one of its branches.
  • For a foreign employee, he must be a registered employee in the same branch of the facility only.

  • Employer’s card
  • Authorized Person Card
  • Attach an official power of attorney certified by an official authority
  • In case of authorizing an employee (Bahraini or foreign) an empowerment to work on the same register, the evidence should be attached
  • In the case of authorizing an agent, attach a copy of the certificate register showing the activity (clearing government transactions)

Service Processes

  • Login the expatriate labour website using the employer’s password or attending one of the Authority’s branches with the required documents
  • Submit an authorization request through the Expatriate Labour Management System of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority, fill all the data and attach the required documents
  • The application is decided on by the authority for cases submitted electronically
