Request for the setup of an e-key (advanced level)
Registering for an advanced eKey ensures the highest level of security and allows access to highly confidential e-services that require authentication of the user’s ID card and his/her biometrics (fingerprints). Due to the strict security protocols required to set up an advanced eKey account, a visit to the e-Service Center is required
Service Conditions
- Minimum age 15 years
- The applicant is a Bahraini or a non-Bahraini who has a personal number, and in the event that he does not have a personal number for Gulf nationals, the Gulf card must be activated
- You will only need to visit the e-services center once, with the need to bring a smart card
- Register the fingerprint data in the relevant electronic system
Legal Regulations
- Decree No. 36 of 2018 regulating the technical requirements for sending, receiving and updating the e-records and signatures of public bodies.
