Installing a new electricity meter

Required Attachments

  • Electricity technical services request form.
  • Copy of the ID Card reader printout, or a two-sided copy of the ID Card.
  • Copy of the title deed
  • Copy of the aerial map and a copy of the survey certificate.
  • Tenants will need a copy of the lease contract, a letter of no-objection from the property owner, a certificate of completion and proof of the inspection of installations. Also, there must be a No Objection Letter from the municipality to connecting the property to the electricity grid

Legal Regulations

  • Decree No. 2 of 2010 on the electrical wiring system
  • Resolution No. 13 of 2006 related to the regulations of charges for the delivery of electricity and water services.
