Renewal of electrical contractor licenses

Required Attachments

  • An official letter in the name of the Director of the Electricity Distribution Directorate
  • A filled-out electrical contractor license form
  • Copy of the commercial registeration
  • Copy of passports (for expatriates)
  • Copies of ID Cards and electrical practicing licenses for all electrical licensees in the establishment
  • License from the Council for Regulating the Practice of Engineering Professions (CRPEP)
  • Copy of the ID Card reader printout, or a two-sided copy of the ID Card belonging to the owner of the establishment
  • Electricity bill

Legal Regulations

  • Decree No. 1 of 2005 covering the work regulations in the electrical wiring profession
