Changing occupant name or restoring electric power for the owner of the property as registered with the Authority
Handling requests to change the name on electricity and water accounts back to the current owner of a property as registered with the Electricity and Water Authority after a tenant vacates the property and restoring the power, if necessary
Service Conditions
- Payment of the outstanding balance on the owner if any
Required Attachments
- Electricity, Water, Municipal Rates Agreement form (for applying requests physically via Customer Service Centers and via the Virtual Center)
- ID Card reader printout, or a two-sided copy of, or a copy of the commercial registration certificate (for Bahraini and Residents) or passport copy (For Non-Residents)
- Official IBAN Certificate
- Tenant Premise Evacuation Form
