Moving to a new address/reconnecting the service (to the tenant)
Requesting the registration of the electricity and water bill in the name of the customer after moving to a new rented property, and reconnecting the service if necessary
Service Conditions
- Payment of the outstanding balance on the tenant if any
Required Attachments
- Electricity, Water, Municipal Rates Agreement form (Applies only for applying requests physically via Customer Service Centers and via the Virtual Center)
- ID Card reader printout, or a two-sided copy, or a copy of commercial registration certificate (for Bahrainis and Residents) or a passport copy (For non-Residents)
- Lease Agreement
- Lease agreement registration receipt
- Official IBAN Certificate
- Copy of the premise owner ID

- Select individual section
- Select Electricity and Water Authority
- Select electricity and water services, press “Start the service”, and request to move to a new address
- Book an appointment for “Customer Services” via the appointment booking app Skiplino or via EWA’s website
- Proceed to the selected customer service center
