Requests to bring foreign artists to tourist establishments
This service includes granting approval to bring foreign artists and performing art groups to hotels and restaurants with services designated for tourists.
Required Attachments
- A clear copy of the passport of the artist to be invited
- A clear copy of the employment contract attached
- A copy of the practice licence (artist card), academic certificates or technical expertise in the field of art, if possible
- Undertaking form to be filled, signed and sealed by the establishment manager or the licence holder
- A clear copy of the previous artists entitlements (in case of artist replacement)
Legal Regulations
- Decree-Law No. 15 of 1986 on the regulation of tourism and its amendments
- Edict No. 2 of 1993 considering the recruitment of expat artists and artistic bands to work in Bahrain as a tourism service
- Edict No. 3 of 1991 regarding the recruitment of expat artists and artistic bands and monitoring their work
