Closure and reopening of tourism facilities
This service allows holders of tourism licences of facilities subject to hotel service fees to apply for temporary closure of their corresponding tourist facilities for maintenance purposes or for any other reasons, pending payment of tourism licence fees at the time of their entitlement to keep the tourist licence. It is also possible to request the reopening of the facility by submitting an electronic request as well.
Required Attachments
- An official letter from the facility stating the reason for closure
- A submission request through the Authority’s system from the facility’s own account.

- Edict No. 1 of 2018 fixing fees for licence issuance and renewal for tourism services
- Edict No. (106) of 2015 amending Edict No. (4) of 1994 regarding the amendment of hotel service fees
- Edict No. (37) of 2015 amending some provisions of Edict No. (2) of 1989 regarding the conditions and procedures for granting and renewing licences to engage in tourism services business
- Edict No. 109 of 2018 amending Article No. 2 of Edict No. 196 of 2017 regarding hotel service fees
