Filing Cases (according to the Chamber’s jurisdiction by law)
This service enables the disputing party (the Claimant) to file a claim before the Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution (the Chamber Court) according to its jurisdiction where the claim amount exceeds five hundred thousand Bahraini dinars, and includes either an international commercial dispute or a dispute in which one of the parties is a financial institution licensed under the provisions of the Central Bank of Bahrain or a dispute between commercial companies licensed under the provisions of the Commercial Companies Law.It also includes disputes regulated by one of the laws mentioned below, which expanded the jurisdiction of the Chamber:Article 8 of Law No. (27) of 2017 with respect to Real Estate Regulatory Act. Article 67 of Legislative Decree No. (23) of 2016 in respect of trusts
Service Conditions
- Submit a statement of claims in accordance with the requirements of the Regulations of Dispute Resolution Procedures of the Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution pursuant to Section (1) of Chapter (2) of the Legislative Decree No. (30) for the year 2009 .

- A statement of claim in accordance with the requirements of Article 8 of the Regulations of Dispute Resolution Procedures
- If the case is submitted via non-electronic channel, the claimant shall provide copies of the claim and supporting documents equivalent to the number of the parties (along with an electronic copy)

- The fees are paid in accordance with the Legislative Decree- No. (3) of 1972 with respect to the Judicial Fees and its amendments.

Service Processes
- The Claimant, upon filing its case submits a statement of claims, in accordance with the requirements of Article (8) of the Regulations of the Dispute Resolution Procedures.
- The Claimant’s attorney shall submit the power of attorney in the event the statement of claims is filed on its behalf.
- The Claimant or his representative shall pay the full filing fee in cash, by cheque made payable to the Chamber, by bank transfer to the Chamber’s account or via credit card.
- After receiving payment of the filing fees and the fulfillment of all filing requirements and documents, the Chamber shall register the claim in its filing records and include the statement of claims, receipt and documents in the case file
- The Chamber shall notify the Claimant with the proof of filing and the case management schedule.
- The Claimant, upon filing its case submits a statement of claims, in accordance with the requirements of Article (8) of the Regulations of the Dispute Resolution Procedures.
