Established in 1962, Khalifa bin Salman Port is one of the key catalysts for economic development in the Kingdom of Bahrain, serving as an important trade link for the region. Its strategic location makes it one of the pre-eminent ports in the northern Arabian Gulf, well-positioned to receive cruise ships, and giant container and general cargo ships, in addition to helping connect cargo with direct road routes to Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries. The port also provides world-class sea freight, marine navigation, and logistics services.
