Actions Taken: In response to the publics opinion on applying eLearning to be part of the academic year the Ministry of Education provided options to parents of the students whereby they get to select the education model for their children, be it via online or physically attend class. Students got the option to stay home and do their classes virtually or receive education regularly at their schools physically with a time frame of attendance based on each school within the kingdom of Bahrain, taking into account social distancing, and completing the required learning hours remotely through virtual classrooms, the educational portal, videos, TV classes and other suitable techniques.
In addition a comprehensive guide has been prepared for health protocols and school return guidelines, which includes precautionary measures before entering the educational institution and while attending classes and dealing with emergency cases, including the formation of a health team in each school responsible for organizing and implementing health procedures, and setting student reception controls at the beginning of each school day.
Schooling did not stop during the pandemic and continued virtually, based on the publics opinion both options virtual and classroom attendance where made available by the ministry of education and all schools within the kingdom of Bahrain to suit the needs of the parents and students for the best education mechanism they are more comfortable with.
