Review the application and determine the type of operation required; either enclosure system or ordinary system.

Contact the applicant by telephone to notify them of the type of operation needed and to set up a date for the site visit.

In case the operation required is an ordinary system, the Council will supervise the removal procedure.

In case the operation required is the enclosure system, a site visit will be conducted to examine the site and to set the necessary requirements to start the enclosure system procedures.

Meet the requirements set by the Council and inform the Council when the implementation of the requirements are completed.

Conduct another site visit to ensure the implementation of all the requirements and conditions. If all conditions are implemented, conduct a Smoke Test to ensure the safety of the site. If the requirements and conditions are not implemented, the applicant will be notified to implement the required conditions.

If the Smoke Test result was positive, a final site visit will be arranged to supervise the asbestos removal procedure. If the test result was negative, the applicant will be requested to work on some recommendations and inform the Council to oversee the asbestos removal procedure.
