ESERVICES CENTERS AND EKIOSKS

The eServices Centers provides convenient and accessible points where customers can use Government Services. The centers are established with a vision of sparing customer’s the time and effort of physically going from one Ministry to another, and at the same time reducing the long queues and waiting times at the government departments. It targets a segment of society that currently has a difficulty in accessing the eGovernment Services through the internet. Trained staffs are deployed at each center to help the customers in accessing the services.

15 eServices Centers were set up across the five governorates of the Kingdom. Customer’s hot touch points were selected such as post offices, community centers and commercial centers. The selection was made to offer convenient and easy access to all customers.

All 15 centers are also installed with self-service machines (i.e. eKiosks), which resemble and work much in the same way as ATM machines, thereby allowing customers to complete the eServices with complete ease. Currently, 35 eKiosks are installed across the country, and they were placed in carefully selected places frequently visited by the public such as: shopping malls, hospitals, banks and number of governmental entities.
